This brace made me mobile again

After being diagnosed with both peroneal and Achilles tendonitis(es), my podiatrist issued orders to sport a CAM walker for a good six weeks+ in addition to a non-weight-bearing protocol. I was in so much pain I didn’t even mind! But after a few days, I remembered how completely unusable CAM walkers are when you live alone in a two-storey house. That’s when a quick search led me to this ankle brace, which claimed to replace a CAM walker and more. Two days later I already received the product and two minutes after that I felt relief I had not felt in months. The difference was night and day beyond what I can adequately describe. Within 24 hours I could comfortably put weight on my right side again. I was able to get around the house when required and stairs became infinitely easier and safer to maneuver. After about a week I was comfortable with running errands outside the home (brief ones, no driving!). The over-the-shoe design works great and is doable even after many hours of use. I have slept with it on just over a thick sock. All in all, a fantastic product. I am so grateful for the increased quality of life this brings me. Thank you!

I felt relief on the first day.

I was suffering from a torn tendon. Unfortunately. I also have lipodema which causes excessive fat on my legs. I needed a brace to immobilize my leg. Due to my condition, I could find a brace that fit. My podiatrist recommended your product. It arrived quickly and felt relief the very first day I wore it. My only issue is that I need longer straps for the ankle and leg but I use an ace bandage to keep it in place around my leg.

Great for ankle stabilization

Wife’s ankle turns inward from MS long term results to affect lower limb. Brace helps keep ankle straight and helps for foot proper placement and contact when getting up from sitting position. Working to get use to upper part of brace strapped to leg but has potential to be a great aid for her.

Great Alternative to the CAM boot

Ok, I am so glad I "googled" "CAM Boot Alternative." Doing that brought my attention to the TayCo brace. I watched all of the videos and then some and thought I'd give it a shot. I was a little nervous as my orthopedist didn't seem to get what I was showing him so bought it on my own to try. I am so glad I did. I cannot imagine using the CAM boot one more day. Once I fitted the brace, I was amazed I was l walking in my own shoes. It has allowed me greater freedom and relieved my legs and back the pain of the CAM boot. That said, it did require some fiddling with different shoes and tightening. I still had a bit of discomfort from the brace in tha calf and shin, but getting the right shoe to match is key. I also had to work with the tension of the top two straps. Still get a bit of soreness in the hamstring area from walking with my leg straight, but I would have that same issue with the boot. But it's heads and tails better than the ancient technology that is the CAM boot.
