My left foot arch had collapsed Tayco brace really keep me stabilized while recovering. Hopefully this brace prevents me from surgery

Bad case of tendinitis in my ankle lead me to this brace. I did not want the traditional walking cast and standard ankle braces were not doing the trick. I love how I look almost normal with the brace on and that it does not impede my ability to do normal tasks. This is the brace the world needs. That said, I do feel the ankle lock mechanism does seem to be loosening just a slight bit. I have very thin ankles and would like the brace to fit a bit tighter but all in all, this brace is working and I’m feeling so much better!

It is much better than the boot and adjusts without a problem. It allows me to walk without discomfort using my own comfy shoes.

I am female 72 years old, and broke my leg and ankle playing Ice Hockey on a recreational team.
I also work full time, and needed to get back to work as soon as possible, as I did not want to go on short term disability. Because you are not guaranteed the same position at work when you go off short term disability. The big black heavy boot that they gave me for recovery was making my leg and ankle worse. The only thing this heavy boot did was make my ankle and leg swell up more. So I took a chance and ordered the TayCo Brace on my own. And the difference it is making in my recovery is fantastic. I can walk easier and it is so much lighter. I would recommend it to anyone.

I was suffering from a torn tendon. Unfortunately. I also have lipodema which causes excessive fat on my legs. I needed a brace to immobilize my leg. Due to my condition, I could find a brace that fit. My podiatrist recommended your product. It arrived quickly and felt relief the very first day I wore it. My only issue is that I need longer straps for the ankle and leg but I use an ace bandage to keep it in place around my leg.

After being diagnosed with both peroneal and Achilles tendonitis(es), my podiatrist issued orders to sport a CAM walker for a good six weeks+ in addition to a non-weight-bearing protocol. I was in so much pain I didn’t even mind! But after a few days, I remembered how completely unusable CAM walkers are when you live alone in a two-storey house. That’s when a quick search led me to this ankle brace, which claimed to replace a CAM walker and more. Two days later I already received the product and two minutes after that I felt relief I had not felt in months. The difference was night and day beyond what I can adequately describe. Within 24 hours I could comfortably put weight on my right side again. I was able to get around the house when required and stairs became infinitely easier and safer to maneuver. After about a week I was comfortable with running errands outside the home (brief ones, no driving!). The over-the-shoe design works great and is doable even after many hours of use. I have slept with it on just over a thick sock. All in all, a fantastic product. I am so grateful for the increased quality of life this brings me. Thank you!

Came out of a cast for an ankle fracture and was ordered to wear a walking boot for several weeks. My wife bought me this brace to spare me the tripping hazards and body aches that are par for the course with traditional walking boots. I am amazed by how comfortable and supportive the TayCo brace is. My orthopedics team is now using TayCo braces for their patients.

Very happy so far only have one concern the strap on the bottom of your foot. If it wears out, can it be replaced or do you have to replace the whole brace? That is the only weakness I can see in this brace

I have a somewhat minor injury, but needed a brace so my ankle bone could heal. I was initially given a boot by my doctor and that was misery. I also have a heel spur on that foot and the other leg has a bad knee I nurse to the day I need a new one. The boot had my heel in pain and my other knee sore. I looked online for alternatives and found the TayCo brace. I called my doctor and asked if the TayCo brace would be adequate and I got the go ahead. So much better. I almost walk normal, can use my own shoes and am able to drive. Worth every penny. I wish I knew about this brace before getting the boot. I would have asked for the prescription version and save a few bucks. Anyways the brace is making my recuperation so much better . If you’re on the fence just do it!!

The 1950’s era 4 pound cam boot that I was sentenced to wear was cumbersome and didn’t offer the amount of support the TayCo does, for me it was a no brainer. I sent a video and pictures to a friend who is a retired orthopedic ankle surgeon and he was very impressed and mentioned he wished this had been available for his patients, I am a satisfied customer!! Am able to maneuver without the pain I experienced with the Cam boot. I am also using a knee scooter to stay off my foot and leg as much as possible.
The brace comes up mid leg unlike the short boot which still came up to my knee front and back making it impossible to bend my knee for walking or standing briefly when needed. I could not function even with toilet necessities.
Much easier on the back and spine and gait as well.
When you send samples to physicians I would suggest you ship Medium in stead of Small as more people fall into that shoe range. Just my opinion per my experience with what my physician received and has not yet been able to pass on to her patients.
